Zella has been traveling to my farm for weekly training rides on my 7yo gelding for the past two years. She has helped us with flat work, jumping, and good ground manners. Zella has been training my new young horse for the past month and he has made amazing strides in that time. I have also been taking lessons with her and I will say she is so effective in her teaching style and so patient. I haven’t ridden in over 20 years and she has met me where I am and helped me to build confidence and regain technique. I would recommend her to anyone of any skill level. I have seen her work with new beginners and even children with special needs and seen great progress.

Zella has been amazing! She was very patient with me while I was having confidence issues, and one of the most understanding instructors I’ve taken lessons from. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about the horses and riders and enjoys seeing them grow and progress! 

As a beginner rider, I have felt so much improvement in the short 8 weeks since I started! I’ve had so much fun and feel that the instruction during lessons is always appropriate and allows for growth. I have already learned so much about the small details that come with riding. I highly suggest BSS!

I have had such a great experience with Zella! I knew nothing about English riding when I started and she taught me so much in a short amount of time! I appreciate how much Zella knows outside of just about riding. You can tell that she is very passionate about what she does and her horses!
