THE BSS Lease & Sales Program

Sales: We take a lot of pride in our horses at BSS. When purchasing a horse from BSS, you can be guaranteed transparency, quick communication, and a smooth process as you gain ownership of your new partner. We hope we can assist you in finding your perfect match or at least help guide you in the right direction!

Leases: At BSS, we also offer a variety of lease options on our personal horses. The BSS lease program is unique as it is designed to provide our students with extra riding time and the experience of leasing without the hassle of extra bills, lack of guidance, or complicated processes. All of our leases include weekly lessons and hack/solo rides, use of all equipment and facilities, and no extra expenses outside of the monthly lease fee. By The Bay (Bailey)

FOR PARTIAL or HALF IN-BARN LEASE

16yr old, 16hh Thoroughbred Mare

Bailey has winning records through the low-children’s jumpers (1.00m-1.05m) and can easily go higher, recently floating over 1.25 while schooling at home. She is forward thinking, but is very simple and eager to the jumps (just can be excited because she LOVES it!). Bailey is not for absolute beginners, but I believe a gutsy intermediate and above who likes to go fast would have a blast on her! This horse makes me smile so big every time I sit on her. Must be comfortable with a horse that has some go!

How You Doin' (Joey)

16yr old, 15.2hh Thoroughbred Gelding

Joey has been successful at local shows through the .90m jumpers, 2’9 hunters, and has schooled up to 1.15m at home. He also likes to play western horse on occasion. Very responsive on the flat, super fun to jump, auto-changes, scopey, and some spunk but always tries his best for his rider. More go than woah. He is happiest with a job and a rider who both challenges him to work but also likes to have fun.

Palace has been doing great learning a solid foundation on the flat. He is very sweet, brave, and quiet with three floaty beautiful gaits, a smooth flying lead change, and a flashy jump. We think he will do amazing in the hunter ring with the right amount of time and training. Although very safe and quiet, Palace would do best with a rider who understands a young horse's need for clear and consistent cues as he is still learning. BSS would be happy to invite a leaser to learn how to continue bringing Palace along as a partial/half/or full lease (check out our services page for more info), but we also encourage you to come check out Palace for yourself! Who doesn't want this gorgeous horse as their own?
