Leases AND Sales

Sales: We take a lot of pride in our horses at BSS. When purchasing a horse from BSS, you can be guaranteed transparency, quick communication, and a smooth process as you gain ownership of your new partner. We hope we can assist you in finding your perfect match or at least help guide you in the right direction! When selling a horse through BSS, you can be confident that your horse will be well represented and buyers will be vetted with the horse's best interest in mind. 

Leases: At BSS, we also offer a variety of lease options on our personal horses. The BSS lease program is unique as it is designed to provide our students with extra riding time and the experience of leasing without the hassle of extra bills, lack of guidance, or complicated processes. All of our leases include weekly lessons and hack/solo rides, use of all equipment and facilities, and no extra expenses outside of the monthly lease fee. Jericho is a stunning boy with a very social, "in your pocket" personality. Very intelligent, forgiving, and will make a great partner. Beautiful movement and lots of potential. Jericho is undergoing a complete restart to make sure he is set up for a successful future. He is currently trotting under saddle. Good to groom, tack, lunge, and (of course) snuggle with. Can go out with mares or geldings but tends to want to be in charge. Barefoot and sound. 

Will require a consistent and experienced handler at this point in his training. This boy wants a job and would benefit from continuing in a professional program.

Mushu (known around the barn as Mushy) is a barn favorite with his sweet, calm demeanor, pleasant gaits, and fun jump. Easy to handle on the ground, currently barefoot and good for the trimmer, and easy undersaddle. Mushu is the perfect mix of quiet and responsive, and puts a smile on everyone's face. He has been used in my program for a multitude of beginner, intermediate, and advanced riding lessons and has taken to jumping fabulously. Natural uphill movement, easy flying lead change, and round scopey jump with a nice expression. He could go in many different directions and would be easy for a junior or amateur in a program to finish. I wish restarting thoroughbreds was always this easy....

Bailey has winning records through the low-children’s jumpers (1.00m-1.05m) and can easily go higher, recently floating over 1.30 while schooling at home. She is forward thinking, but is very simple and eager to the jumps (just can be excited because she LOVES it!).  Bailey is not for absolute beginners, but a gutsy intermediate+ who likes to go fast would have a blast on her! This horse makes me smile so big every time I sit on her. Must be comfortable with a horse that can be strong and has go!

Joey has been successful at local shows through the .90m jumpers, 2’9 hunters, and has schooled up to 1.15m at home. He also likes to play western horse on occasion. Very responsive on the flat, super fun to jump, auto-changes, scopey, and some spunk but always tries his best for his rider. More go than woah. He is happiest with a job and a rider who both challenges him to work but also likes to have fun. Good riding, confident intermediate - advanced riders required.

9yr old, 16hh Thoroughbred Gelding

Dunkin has currently taken on the role of Zella's personal project horse. He is working on developing his skills and progressing in his training to hopefully be successful in the show ring in the future. Although Dunkin is no longer officially listed for sale, if you are interested in working with him during lessons to improve your horsemanship, ground work, timing, and training of a young/more challenging horse within the BSS program, please reach out.
